♦ Watery Eyes
Epiphora means there is an overflow of tears (also known as watery eyes). Watery eyes is probably one of the most common “health” problems in dogs, especially the small breeds. There are so many different reasons that can cause this problem. If your dog is having watery eyes along with other symptoms then it’s most likely something else causing it. For example: water eyes plus dry, itchy, flaky skin usually means allergies. Your vet would have to exam the eyes to make any specific diagnose. Eyes are a delicate matter and a specialized field so most  vets have limited knowledge and will refer you to an actual eye specialist.
